Italian Swing - Music to revive the Dolce Vita and savour its sweet Mediterranean taste
The Italian Swing project led by the Roman crooner Stefano Riva offers a reinterpretation of the Italian classics from the forties, fifties and sixties in swing version.
Stefano Riva, who started out with an operatic formation, after having explored different genres, decided to follow in the footsteps of the famous American singers from the postwar period following the Second World War, drawing on the traditional repertoire of the “crooner”.
The album Mambo Italiano, which includes two original compositions, was born in june 2017 as a result of the collaboration with jazz musicians from the Barcelona scene.
